Naw... your wrong as shyt and he provided great examples
All i have seen is justifications of this or that in these examples, but everyone that I personally listed are things I see that women are more prone to than men. the fact is BOTH genders have distinct privileges that the other doesn't. You and others have a problem acknowledging that. From my experiences socially and professionally, I have seen the privileges I listed in action. You don't agree, that's your opinion.

See the red

Naw... your wrong as shyt and he provided great examples
As a male, I have never had to worry about being raped Function of sexual organ....no privilege here
function of sexual organ? wtf? women are more prone to rape, and statistics back this up. I dont feel sexually vulnerable.
As a male, to insult my malehood, people will insult with female based derogatory terms (bytch p*ssy etc) Because acting like a woman is the opposite of manhood...."female" or "woman" could be interchanged with b#tch or p#ssy in this instance and still have the desired effect in the spirit of the insult i.e. "you acting like a female right now"...no privilege here....oh, and woman use b#tch and p#ssy when tearing down men as well
it doesnt matter what gender the insult comes from- likening a man to a woman is derogatory
As a male, I have never had to worry about a woman grabbing my dikk unsolicited in public Ummm....this depends on the environment....I could find some threads on this here forum with dudes talking about fat, ugly chicks being alittle too friendly....no privilege here
you can find isolated incidents, but are you really going to argue that men are as prone to getting their dikks grabbed as a woman is to getting her butt smacked? Be serious, and just because it has happened to a few men here and there does not mean that we don't still have this privilege. "it happened to me one time..." That's not on a consistent basis like it is with women.
As a black male, I cannot relate to the systematic rape that women from slavery times and beyond went through at the hands of white men Neither can the 2014 black feminists who wrote this....this one is simply assanine....no privilege here
It is a privilege, because of the historical implications of this. That systematic rape increased the vulnerable nature of black women.
As a black male, it is more socially acceptable for me to abandon my children than women Where is this acceptable? In the courtroom? Or maybe Child Support offices? Or maybe TV talk shows? Or maybe around the dinner table where Tamika gets clowned by grandmother for getting "knocked up" by that "nothing a## Tyrone from down the street"
Knowing many men who have not helped raised their children and did not pay child support, they were still able to find jobs, be socially accepted, and find new mates with relative ease. Speaking from my personal observations, women who abandoned their children were ostracized by society.
As a black male, I do not have to worry about the angry black woman stereotype, or have my sexuality questioned because of my profession No, we have to worry about the Angry Black Man stereotype, the Oversexed Whoremonger/Rapist stereotype, the N#ggas is Lazy stereotype, the N#ggas don't take of their kids stereotype, etc.
I simply said I don't have to worry about the angry black woman stereotype, or any other stereotypes that are held for women in the workroom. Yes there are male stereotypes, and women are not subject to them. But I am privileged not to have worry about their gender-specific stereotypes.
As a black male, I can have a white wife and think my opinion on black american affairs is still valid And black women don't do this? See Stacey Dash and several other black female Fox News commentators who sleep with a cac every night but are all too eager to talk about what blacks are and aren't doing
Black America does not take Stacey Dash seriously. Black men can marry a white woman, and still be able to have an active voice in AfAm affairs, whereas black women are more ostracized when they engage in interracial intercourse.
As a black male, I don't have to worry about being foced into sex because of going on a date with a woman who paid Forcing someone to have sex is rape. Is there an epidemic of black women getting raped on first dates in the parking lots of Red Lobsters and TGI Fridays across the country?
Stop acting like their aren't dudes who feel entitled to something sexual because they took a woman out, bought them something, or spent money on them in another form. If I go out with a woman, and she buys everything, I dont have to worry about owing her something at the end of the night.
As a black male, independence was something that was inherent- for black women, independence is still something they strive for Black men are no more independent than black women. Black men are still overwhelmingly dependent on non-blacks for jobs, access to homes, access to education, access to goods and services, etc. Where is this independent state, county or city that black men have built on their "inherent" independence?
I will address at a later time.
As a black male, I have more positive black male figures on TV/media More doesn't equal better. Black men and black women have their fair share of stereotypical TV/movie characters. Is this really a debate? That's a lie. i have stayed away from sports in this topic, but when you take into effect LeBron James, Richard Sherman, and other actors/entertainers, is this even a debate? Come on.

Sohh you gonna sit there and act like black male privilege doesn't exist :stopitslime:

http://www.thecoli.com/threads/is-this-black-male-privilege-checklist-true.138559/

Here's #34 from the list

34. I can hear and use language bytches and hoes that demean women, with virtually no opposition from men.

:mjlol:

Women call each other bytch/ho more than anybody
Naw, I know what im speaking on... my bm was one before the shyt was even popular... had Facebook page w all these bitter bitxhes following her cuz shes educated and pretty.... but she got educated and grew up...

Most of these women are following the few white supremacy tools at the top. Most are open to dialogue..

Saying fukk you sluts, you're the enemy, eat a dikk... is just gonna push them closer to the dark side.

I know this sounds sexiest.. but idk another way to say it.... women are followers by nature and their low self esteem drives their poor choices. We need to build them up, and when dealing with them just show them real men... and explain to them the social economic political factors that produce the sorry ass nikkas amongst us. And we shouldn't really mention their poor sexual choices, hair hats, and body shapes.... they hate the truth and they put the in shape sexy ones on posters anyway.

Give these hoes a purpose... thats the way u bend a women's mind... thats how these instrgram feminist gain numbers.. In reality a black woman would rather serve their entire community as opposed to this bitter mission.

Its not difficult , if we stopped arguing with them and tried. Or are just gonna push them deeper into the cacs bushes? They aren't evil and most can become lil assatas.

I don't think we should worry about the women.Black men should get together, form a network, and start building. That should be our initial goal.Women outnumber us 4 to 1, right? If one out of that four is a feminist, we can afford to loose that one, and still have an overabundance of women to choose from.

Once the men build up a physical infrastructure/community(ies)/economic base, then we bring in the women who wanna get down with the program and incorporate them into the mix.

90% of black women still fukk with/have babies by black men.Even in our madness/weakened state, they STILL fukk with us.Despite all the feminist propaganda trying to make it seem as if black women are hopping the fence in droves, fact is, the majority of black women still fukk with black men.

I wish brothers would call a timeout on all the back & forth dialogue with females. It's not going to get you anywhere. It only turns into the blame game/pointing fingers at who's more at fault.Men should be more inclined to action and forget the lip service.

Don't talk unless you got something tangible to back it up with. That's the only thing that MAY(Some are too far gone IMO) lead to some of these women having that "EUREKA!!" moment.Until then, they're not really going to respect nikkaz sitting around talking pretty about the situation in our community. We've been doing that for the last 50 years and it's gotten us nowhere.

Just build it and they'll come.

Once they start seeing nikkaz erecting skyscrapers, paving roads, opening transportation companies, grocery stores, bakeries, hair stores, schools with black teachers, hospitals with black doctors etc..etc

They will come. They'll be right there by our sides helping us to maintain what we create. Not on some subservient/slave shyt, but on some love & sacrifice shyt. The men sacrifice to build and the women sacrifice to maintain.Once we reach that level of connectivity & understanding, it'll create an environment of peace wherein we both can grow.Build stronger children, to.

The black woman's womb will become even more invaluable then.Because now we have something of value to pass down to our offspring. They're going to help maintain the legacy we create.

Presently, we're not passing down shyt. We're just fukking to get a nutt; no aim, no purpose.

It might even bring chivalry back:mjpls:

sup Coli long time lurker, first time poster.....

Anyway i gotta say, Tariq was wrong as fukk for bashing this chick about the police comment.

She was right.

Hate to say it but too many nikkas have been needlessly beaten, arrested, accosted, and even killed by the police when it wasn't even worth it.

Now i'm in no way shape or form condoning police brutality, racism, or profiling...But the fact is the cops have, can, and will kill you and get away with it. So anytime you're dealing with hostile police and you're a minority? A cost benefits analysis is imperative to possibly saving your life.

A cop needlessly fukking with you? Hold your tongue, be peaceful compliant and take the damn L. If you're innocent/the cop was being unjust, report him and/or youll get your day in court to prove your innocence.

But potentially losing your life over a principle that you lack any power to reinforce isn't worth it.

The issue is with all of us, but I think it's up to the men to take on a leadership role, and break us out of this shyt.

It's time for black men to collectively ball. The women will fall in line...at least the ones that we want

how many times you literally been stopped by the cops?? pulled over in car , or i.d. checked on foot
7 times.

All for nothing.

One time, which I already explained on here, I was stopped by cops for jaywalking. They talked to me like a piece of garbage. One of them even had to restrain the other from pulling out his gun on me when I made the mistake of putting my hand in my pocket for no reason whatsoever other than cause I felt like putting my hand in my pocket while I was waiting.

They were both white too. I complied with all of their requests and demands and I nearly got shot for it.

I politely asked them "do you need anything else from me?" after I handed them over my ID and the officer said to me "you trying to get funny with me boy?" in the angriest tone possible.

Yeah...that's why I feel this way about cops. They are a$$holes that think all black men are criminal ghetto trash...they'll validate any reason to harass us just cause they got a uniform and a badge.

Meanwhile, how many non-black people jaywalk and no one even bats an eye?

I shouldn't fear these people just cause their needle dikked racists that want a legal way to beat black men and women up....that's when fear turns into blind subservience.

I detest modern feminism in general, but I especially detest 'black feminism'. How are you 'against the patriarchy' when your own community is a matriarchy? Black women are already the most educated group in this nation and they hold just as, if not more power than black men, so what are these black feminists railing against?
:wtf:
You do know Black women are still paid less than men, still abused and raped in their own communities, and still shut out of most wealthy industries, right?:rudy:

Also.....we very much do still live in a patriarchal society, even Black America.

The absence of men in households doesn't void that. Nor does the abundance of educated Black women. Women as a whole are becoming more educated than men....because they HAVE to be. On average a woman has to obtain a degree to even be remotely competitive with the wages that men earn.

Ill keep it real: Black women in particular are considered as the elephant in the room as far as black socioeconomics go. Far much more is made of "saving our Black boys from the streets/More Obamas, Less Chief Keefs!" or "preventing our Black boys from becoming the next trayvon martins" than any effort to save Black girls go (this isn't unique to black culture, our society is far more concerned with "saving boys", period. Patriarchy and all).

For example, I even look at modern Black Celebs as a microcosm of the "importance" of Black men and women to the world. For men we have Obama, Lebron, Kobe, Jordan, Jay Z, Will and countless others whose popularity have allowed Black men to become just a little bit more integrated, accepted, and liked within our society. For Black Women.....Beyonce and....maybe Michelle Obama?

And even then, Black women are still largely considered as attitude having, b*stard child raising, welfare queens.

I'm not saying we as Black men don't face our own stigmas, stereotypes, and everyday struggles.

But Black Women are fighting just as tough a battle. Maybe even tougher in its own way. And I don't think we collectively acknowledge that enough.

But I can tell you denouncing feminists as race traitors, uppity bytches, and imbeciles isn't helping.

Its doing the enemies work for them.
