2. someone just decided to make enough industrial investment into bootlegging because they see the need to sabotage his product

i never spoke on his "level". all i'm saying is that if hollywood wanted to stop his message or him they're much better or easier ways to go about it rather than bootlegging his shyt. if anything bootlegging it is just making it cheaper and more available to the masses. they could easily get amazon or theaters to not run is film a matter of fact if they were really concerned about the message they can give him an offer he can't refuse and buy the rights to it and never put out anything. some of you dudes have no common sense i swear

If you flood the market with bullshyt, it takes his earning power since he can't back up his numbers with his future ventures.
If he wants to rent a theater in the future, bootlegs hurt his official earnings and negotiation leverage with other vendors.
Its about momentum.
And they can't just ban a movie without incurring lawsuits, publicity, etc. So they'd rather hurt it economically. They've done this before to musicians and indie filmmakers...to think its beyond the pail for Tariq is asinine.

burning 100 dvds is a very laborious process, burning a full movie to a DVD can easily take 10 minutes per movie, 100 dvds would take 16 hours, this is why people pay others to do this for them. There aren't any domestic companies that will mass burn movies so the only option is literally ordering these movies from another country like China, this should come as common sense.
