True. You would think with the widening wealth gap, people would start rebelling. But history has shown us that if you give people just enough sustenance to survive, they’ll be pacified enough to not fight back.true, but the working and lower class could still partake of certain activities that are now prohibitively expensive.
going to see a basketball game or baseball game
wasn’t as costly as it is now; nor were movies, or other events. almost everything is priced at a premium. it never used to be like that.
