Tariq cares about nothing, not even incremental polices them wonders why he’s always reacting to events and circumstances. If he had policies or ideas or suggestions beyond reparations (which I suspect he knows also won’t happen so he can’t ever truly be wrong) then he would have to responsibly have a platform to work towards. This nihilism is losing me.
Tariq does not even live in a black neighborhood, or have black government representatives on the local or state level. The guy dismisses any black judge, politician, or even local activist who does not literally repeat or mimic him Word for Word. I don’t know how anyone expects to build anything worth pushing forward or towards with that sort of mindset. I know for a fact I understand politics more than he does at this point. It’s telling when someone like Roland Martin has consistently proven to have greater nuance and understanding of political reality than him, yet Tariq spends time attacking him.

You know it seems easy not to care about this situation, but in reality a nuclear power is going to war with a sovereign state and multiple nato countries are giving arms and other weapons to the country Russia is currently at war with. And not only that, but they just smacked sanctions on that country and have tanked the ruble.

I don't know what's worse, the notion that I as a black man am not suppose to be concerned for one of the biggest global conflicts we've seen in decades, the notion that I as a black man am not suppose to extend my human empathy to a group of people who are being invaded and possibly slaughtered because they're not black and there's nothing in it for me. Or that I'm waiting for this tohughtless c00n to tell me how I should feel about anything.
And of course this nikka is now spreading pro-Russia talking points to his black audience. He's got to be the biggest sell out carnival stooge on the internet next to Alex Jones. Just begging the alt-right, the Republican PACs, the white supremacists, and the Russian bots to come on in and co-opt his shyt and his audience as long as it means a buck for him. Maybe he'll make another appearance on RT preaching why black people, particularly Foundation Black Americans (tm), should not concern themselves with the clever and honorable Putin's rightful invasion of a sovereign nation nor any upcoming election. Putin would appreciate if black people were politically irrelevant and so would Tariq.

Black people pretending to be impartial, powerful oracles of clarity on "non black issues" is one of the most hilarious and dumb things you see on social media. The first massive war on European soil since WWII impacts everyone on the globe. Beyond the immediate impact on gas prices and inflation, there's the uncertainty and threat of nuclear war. I wasn't aware that black people in the US are impervious to nukes.
Russia will take Ukraine eventually, at which point this becomes a guerilla warfare situation with NATO/US blatantly shipping weapons to insurgents. Is Putin going to simply not do anything about that, or will he make another move? Because if he attacks Poland, the world ends. Again, I didn't know that black Americans were impervious to that either.

Why those same people have NO smoke for Ukrainians and polish that are denying their people safe passage and slapping the shyt outta them.
