mlk died for the cause. he isn't beyond reproach, but some of these modern blacks trying to almost say mlk was some kind of c00n or soft is laughable when mlk put his life on the line in a time where blacks were getting tortured and lynched.

I don't know if you're trying to say this about Tariq, because he has referred to HIMSELF as an "MLK Republican" and a "conservative". Some people are getting this twisted. It's usually in response to people who try to automatically lump him in with modern day Democrats. For example:

Start at 33:53

Not necessarily referring to Tariq, but there's been an undercurrent among some that martin was too soft, was mr kumbayaa and his approach was ineffective.

ironically he accomplished more because he was willing to meet people where they were at.

hate to say it but a MLK type could easily sway you than say brotha Malcolm. if you get what I mean, you know i'm not trying to come off disrespectful, but MLK had a swagger to him.

No its not...

If you understand MLK and understand conservative ideas.

Unless you think with emotions
i don't see anything conservative about marching on Washington and demanding a redistribution of wealth back to america's brown and poor

I don't see anything conservative about empathizing with socialism and acknowledging that we could learn alot from them

I don't see anything conservative about marching for garbage workers who were getting paid low wages

That line was total disrespect to MLK and made Tariq sound just as dumb as Rev Jesse Lee Peterson during that interview

I honestly don't fuk with any black man who willingly calls himself a hustler and does it with pride. Those types would vote for Mitt Romney had they been born with white skin.
