Our issues are already on the table for social dialogue. As I said before in the past post, Tariq isn't brining anything new in the political arena. The commentary on black people plight is done in particularly in most popular news oultlet. We need a representative who is going to work on solutions to dissolve the problems in the black community, a person who galvanize a black voting block, and build alliances that will financially endorse an agenda for black people. Tariq does not have those qualities. You may not feel adverse to Tariq's shenanigans, but so many other black people are not going support someone who stirred up division especially after Tariq made disrespectful comments about Africans spreading STDs in Atlanta.

Tariq track records are too flaw for politics.

He knows he can't win. I rather vote for someone thats talking about doing something for black people than to vote for someone who is not. That spark right there will lead us to the right person we can vote for. Again, Tariq isn't going to win but he can get them talking about our issues.

No, we want BLACK issues addressed in the DEMOCRATIC platform and he's the one to do it. He wouldn't win, but he'd change the landscape of politics for Black people. After the DEMOCRATIC primary he could run as an Independent for the general.
