It does feel like it’s a lot of Island folk up in New York.
Of course, NYC is one of the few places with a high black population

Then add a lot of black immigrants don’t have family outside of a few places in the whole country, so they stay in NYC

I can see nyc being a West Indian stronghold because a lot don’t mingle with other blacks in the south or if they do some still move back to nyc cause most of their family is there, especially if they’re not college educated

I just wonder what’s gonna happen when this ADOS/FBA thing really take off like it’s going now?

If it pops that means the south is gonna be a powerhouse. Once more of us take politics serous, it’s a wrap

culturally we are taking our history back. I’m seeing so many people fighting back on this hip hop history shyt. A few years ago I never seen anyone going against the lies

You can hate Tariq nasheed but you gotta admit he did help get this FBA pride thing going!

It really depends on where you are. Carribeans and africans self segregate. If you stay in Brooklyn, besides a few neighborhoods, you'll think there are no ados. In harlem, we everywhere. I have over 40 first cousins alone. :blessed:

There's ADOS in the following areas:
Brooklyn
Fort Green
Clinton hill
Bed stuy
brownsville
East NY
Coney Island

Queens

Manhattan
Harlem

Bronx

Jamaicans were the only black group to move from a 3rd world country into Black American neighborhoods for the sole purpose of crack selling, gang recruitment, and political fukkshyt.
Chinaman can't help you all the time, fukk nikka

Jamaican mothers kick their sons in the head after they get shot by police.

Please don't be proud of your people.

Respond so I can get into the shower posse saga.
Please do.

:snoop::snoop::russell:

I'm not Jamaican, I am half Grenadian and half St.Lucian. Brooklyn has the most Grenadians of anywhere on the planet besides the island itself. Find me articles or videos of the Grenadian gangster posse's and shootings. Grenada and Maurice Bishop (the person in my avi)

"Bishop joined Grenada’s parliament in 1976 in opposition of Gairy’s government. Then on March 13, 1979, while Eric Gairy was away for a UN conference, Bishop and fellow revolutionaries seized control of the government and Bishop named himself Prime Minister. They called the new government the People’s Revolutionary Government (PRG) and claimed it would be a Marxist government modeled after Fidel Castro’s Cuba. Bernard Coard became his deputy prime minister. Bishop befriended Marxist leaders of the time, but his own government remained more moderate than those of his contemporaries.

Bishop instated many improvements to the country’s social and economic systems and helped Grenada remain prosperous as nearby countries struggled through the early 1980’s. He tried befriending the United States, but the suspicion of his close ties to Cuba and the Soviet Union led the attempts to be unsuccessful. A growing rift in the PRG between Bishop’s more moderate politics and Bernard Coard’s radical ideals led to violence in 1983. A committee of the PRG claimed Bishop had falsely rumored of an assassination attempt and placed him under house arrest on October 12, 1983. A week later he was released by his supporters and marched to give an address, but was captured by the opposition and executed by firing squad with five loyal PRG members. Six days later United States troops entered Grenada to subdue the turmoil. In years since Grenada has become a democracy." Maurice Bishop (1944-1983) •

The Ronald Regan led CIA infiltrated the island had him assassinated .

The same Ronald Regan who disenfranchised ADOS. So once again there is one common enemy here.

My neighbors are Guyanese, there's a lot here, there was never any Guyanese gangs or posses here. There's a little Guyana in Queens and it is safe as can be. I've been to Toronto almost 20 times, they told me and I saw, that Somali and Jamaicans are the "gangsters" out there.

Now Jamaica and Somali, both have had civil unrest which led to the people that left the country to have a nack for violence and drugs etc.

Y'all are once again just saying Haiti and Jamaica when you speak of West Indians. There are over 20 countries.

because he's not the only one. people like him and big boda etc...

we can laugh at Q-anon cac type groups but doesn't mean brehs are not caught up as well. a lot of them also got snared on this forum by bad information being passed around.

@RealCrownHeights why didn’t you say anything about this post, but you went straight to argue with ADOS/FBA about something they said

At first I thought you was neutral in this bullshyt, but I see you’re biased

fukk it, if that poster feels like that let him, but he’s lying to himself and gonna be the next nikka begging to be around ADOS/FBA when a new spot get going cause of us. Every place ALL black immigrants came to live was because we layed the foundation by moving to these areas during “the grea migration”(which were racists) only to get what the poster said? Not anymore!

This time all that “my brother shyt” from the black power era of the 1970’s is done with unless you show you are not a snake in the grass. Younger people are waking up to the games being played by some of y’all

I am neutral, that was a dumb post or a troll I think so I won't acknowledge it. I have been on record saying that West Indians should be thankful and know that Ados laid the groundwork. I'm also on record saying only ADOS and Native Americans deserve reparations and we should get ours from England.

Like I said I worked and still worked in all the Ados and West Indian communities in Harlem and Brooklyn since I graduated college. Working with young black men that are in the system. So what I won't do is let Tariq Nasheed influence and lead people astray with dumb rhetoric when from Flatbush to East NY to Harlem, bad education, lack of resources and nobody caring about you will have the same outcome. Does not matter if your family is from Bermuda or Virgina to these white people.

what does that even mean:heh:

When it comes to Brooklyn hes right..

then you don't know Brooklyn. where are you from?

As a West Indian breh that lives in Brooklyn I couldn’t be happier. ADOS brehs too much simping and gang shyt:hubie:not all but enough of yall :whoa:

:rudy: in west indian hoods the bangers are mainly west indians. mostly 2nd, 3rd,... generation kids.

Afaik, all black and poc communities grew out of already established ados communities. The Great Migration preceded the immigration act of 1965.

So, to answer your question, there's an ados core in queens and the bronx, but they cant outbreed immigration. The city brings in, legit, tens of thousands of poc immigrants/ yr.

This is by design. :usure:

nope. saying all is absolutely not true. In communities like flatbush, east flatbush and carnasie, west indians replaced whites. in crown heights it was both aa and west indians. It's only recently west indians started moving into core aa communities like bed stuy, brownsville and even east new york in large numbers.

but please do tell us what this design is, I'm eager to listen.

a lot of these west indians haters are probably west indian or partly themselves and don't even know it:mjgrin: west indians made up 1/4 of harlem as early as the 1920's

I was with you until you said some are probably West Indian themselves that are hating

we can’t, and shouldn’t rewrite history just to be positive or prove an argument

Harlem is a neighborhood, not a borough. And that was the time the whole world was looking at Harlem, but times changed after that, so those West Indians might have left to go to better areas

it’s the same with Haitians going to Louisiana. After the civil war the Haitians left since they were freedmen, so there is very little, if any, Haitian blood from 1865 to the modern area

when I read the census West Indian in the whole country was no more then over 300,000 people from the early 1900’s until the late 70’s, early 80’s. That’s because before 1965, it was hard for nonwhites to live here and gain citizenship

In NYC in the 1970’s, most nonwhites were Puerto Rican and black American, that was the tail end of the great migration

it was around 1.2 million blacks iirc in 1980, and around the same for Puerto Rican’s

it was around 200,000 Jamaicans, and the rest were from different islands.

If you add to the fact that the over 300,000 were between nyc, Boston, and Miami, that means nyc would have had maybe 250,000 from the islands

if you said some people my have Puerto Rican in their blood, then I agree. I met tons of people like that, even family friends

So you're saying those west indians from the early 10all just got up and didn't procreate Note sure what point you're trying to make here. What exactly is Hatian blood? What are qualifies a person to be FBA or ADOS or West Indian? You're saying the descendants of the So wait you're saying the descendants of early haitians and other west Indians are now ADOS:gladbron: and those early west indians didn't have kids?

You saw what you wanted to see

But, yes, those West Indians had children, that wasn’t my point

my point was the West Indian people during Harlem Renaissance and in Louisiana before the civil war, had options to leave these areas when the Great Depression and the civil war hit

That means very little people would have any West Indian in their bloodline in these places cause they had options to leave. A lot Haitians went back to Haiti, California or another country. Very few, if any, came back cause Jim Crow was in full effect, and Louisiana became poor

In Harlem, the Great Depression gave way to the same thing. If hard times come, why would you stay in the country when you can go somewhere else, if not back home?

you must have forgotten that there were not many places blacks could go for a little freedom. Jim Crow was real!

This history in this thread is so interesting.

On a complete tangent…I got beef with @HarlemHottie
AND
@Nicole0416_646NYC

for not properly schooling me about these fine ass NY Brooklyn and Harlem men.
:stopitslime::mjcry::damn:
I love my southern guys but ya’ll got some dangerously smooth brehs up there.

:whoa:I ain’t ready. I don’t know how ya’ll get anything done. NC is bad enough. Louisiana men were gorgeous. But I’d be pregnant every 9 months if I lived up there.
