I thought it was mid, it is filled with tropes.

The main LEO guy is a drunk, the black woman agent got have the short hair and mentions she not from America ( :mjpls:), why does Mark have black kids and why is one of them in jail? The white lady agent shows up late and doesn't read the report but in this show she end up being the the best one.

On the bad guys, why are robbing drug dealers? For fun? for the cash? What are they doing with the money? If they have done 8 plus houses shouldn't they be pretty good or at least have a system? Is that one guy that got shot part of the crew or was just added?

How much local sponsorship is there going to be? Ritas, Wawa? Possibly some cheese steak place, talking about the Phillies and the Eagles. Bwah ha ha ha.

They got one thing right, people there are ugly as fukk and so bummy looking. :hhh:

Really strong start.

Peach-boy was a walking trope though so you knew what to expect.

Hopefully the show's able to maintain the momentum because I enjoyed that

I mean, they evidently have a system. They get "tips" about the trap houses and they run surveillance on them with the garbage disposal front. The money isn't evidently all for them - a good chunk likely goes to whoever sending the texts to main dude. In the description of the robbery crew I believe the FBI lady said "crew of two, sometimes three", so Peach-Boy ran with them plenty enough, but maybe not in all robberies

I believe he was one of them lawyers going after Jeff Daniels character, whatever his role was it's not as significant in the book.

They did the same thing in the Dope Theif pilot point for point, but paper boy knew better than to rob the big gangs.

Not bad.. but them taking the boy is such a stupid ass plot device. Most criminals would have killed the kid or left him.

Also, the niece's "American" accent goes in and out and sounds weird on occasion. Giving me Sons of Anarchy Jax flashbacks.

I'll still be there for episode 2.
Everybody can't be Kate Winslet, give her a break.
