. . .. the whole thing with Ethan and "Look At Me Son - - I'll Be Right There Waiting For When You Come Home" felt like a fresh pack of sugar-free bubble gum where the flavor disappears after 30 seconds and your jaw starts feelin tight . . .. . im surprised a Bruce Springsteen acoustic song didnt start playing . ..

HBO kinda fell off quality wise this year.

What a cocktease of a show full of tropes.

The actors carried the show otherwise the plot was 2 packs of ass.

Oh there is a shoot out at the trap house and wait there was a kid there the whole time?! And he saw our faces? Are they gonna kill the kid?

Even Jesse’s dumbass in breaking bad didn’t take the kid with him lol. You’re worried about a kid identifying two guys who look like every dude in Philly but not your dead friend who is certainly going to identify you as the robbers? Hmm who could the accomplices be? Oh how about his best friends who are all employed together? You know the friend whose brother we murdered?






The adopted kids subplot was also boring as hell and once Robbie kicked it there was nothing very interesting left to tell


6/10. What’s with shows these days having plots that go nowhere? Is this a new thing in television?

The scene where Ruffalos character says to the guido mole “rest now brother, we have the watch and we’ll see you in Valhalla” had me in tears

Other crews got in the game and HBO no longer is the sole supplier of dope tv anymore. And if Ellison buys WB, shyt going even further downhill.

I think HBO is on a shoestring budget because of Zaslav's cost cutting and terrible development deals given to the Game of Thrones writer and others. They got rid of boxing, they can't fund many shows, if they get with Skydance they will probably get an infusion of money.

That said Comcast is now in the picture and is interested in buyingthem before WB and Discovery split.

If The Pitt S2 continues what S1 did, then it may be hard for Task
Then Pluribus getting a lot of hype, if that is good, that's gonna make more noise/get more love than a show like Task.

At the very least it's receiving multiple acting nominations. I hear you on there being a lot of competition.
