I like the new pieces they laid out for the story in episode 2. Like Robbie telling Maeve one thing about the boy, and the boy confirming a much different thing for her. The uneasiness with the biological daughter and the adoptive daughter coming to head with the table conversation really built well. I'm curious how the Biker Gangs investigation inside their ranks will develop as the Task force also tries to get to that source. The fall out of the Bikers attacking Peaches spot should really open shyt up in the next episode.

It really does detract from the show, which otherwise set up a decent enough premise without it. That plot device almost borders on being slapstick comedy and it's not the type of show that would really benefit from an element like that. It doesn't add any balance.

The cup party, simping the single mom, trying to off himself when she broke up with him, all signs of trying to live up to his dad, and looking for validation from a woman who came from circumstances different circumstances than his own (Captain Save A Ho)

I think it's better than the trailer sold. Cause I felt one way watching the trailer, but a different way after watching the show. The themes of white working class criminals is still fully there though.

I imagine at some point the kid will be used as leverage which is why he's still a good part of the story. I'm hoping this won't happen but I'm betting Maeve will pay the price for Robbie's sins at some point. Curious to where the show is going but I'm interested.

Once shyt went left and their boy got killed at the trap house, it was over for Robbie. This wasn't just about money for him, it appears to be a personal vendetta tied to it. The kid saw their faces, maybe the kid could have identified them, who knows. Robbie ain't some random dude to the biker gang, they know who he is, it's a small community
