I guess she the next best option but I’m not excited to see that play out. She is the least threatening person on the show.. . .. No it was a head fake by the writers. When she made that call a few episodes it was to Internal Affairs because she put 2 and 2 together
she found out that info but couldn’t give a heads up, her explanation is not making sense to me

I wonder if the bikers gonna try and come after Maeve? I dont think anything leads back to her though, no reason for them to suspect she had the drugs.
The fight scenes were good as hell. I was like "Get that nikka Robbie!!!!
". I knew it was over when Tom won against Perry and that face Robbie was making. 
Hoping we see Freddy again, but no real reason to go back there I guess.
Aleah was lighting them bikers up. Showing why she won the sharpshooter competition two years in a row.
Lizzie got fukked up, like damn. They did it nice too. I knew something was gonna happen but didnt think of that. I was like maybe Lizzie sees the truck and tries to shoot them and Jayson shoots her back. Nope straight up ran over.

I took it as Tom telling her he suspects they have a mole, so she called someone to investigate the situation. She got the report back that Grasso has a history, so she told Tom. Unless there's something else that happened that I'm forgetting?

Gut wrenching episode. But what a great season. Good to see some Wire alumni in this last episode (the cop that whooped Bubbles ass after calling Kima). You just knew it wasn't gonna end well for Robbie...and welp...it didnt. Was rooting for him. At least his (final) plan worked (so far). Maeve's def in grave danger is she sticks around. I thought that was gonna be Grasso outside her door...tying up loose ends. That woulda been an interesting twist. Jayson and/or Perry fa sho gon pay her a visit. Depending on who gets left behind in them woods. Still an entertaining watch the past few Sundays. shyt felt like it could be the season finale with how much shyt advanced this episode. Hope they wrap this up nicely next week.

This show keeps spiraling into new depths of bad.
After cats were trying to excuse that sorry ass plot device of the kid being kidnapped as some character trait/flaw of Robbie, it was all really just a segue for Brandis to take him in. That Larry Holmes ass tussle between Brandis and Perry was hilarious; the shootout was worse; having Robbie being killed by Jayson, at that particular point of the episode, was anticlimatic and really dampened whatever vengeance arc the show had been building.
And since Eryn is dead too, their entire motive and operation is all [narratively] for nothing. Now they'll be spending the rest of the time on subplots that held no precedence prior.
I bet they'll pull some corny shyt of Maeve killing Jayson in the finale.

She didn't give a heads up because the show wants us to believe she conveniently found out this information after Lizzie was killed, as if we're supposed to believe the head of this FBI branch only got information regarding a "formal complaint" after two entire episodes, all the while shyt was getting leaked left, right and center.
As much as this show wants to give off the appearance of how grounded it is, they've tried to stretch the suspension of disbelief well beyond the world they've created.

Actually, she did find out that info during Episode 5, but went all that time without informing Brandis, even went out into the field with him and Grasso to capture Robbie, all the while knowing full well he was likely the mole. That makes the writing even worse.

On the topic of Lizzie -
We're supposed to believe she had her bearings enough to make it back to the car (even running at full pace), but not the awareness of hearing that big ass pickup truck roaring towards her (especially given only one of her ears was affected). Then when she's right behind the car and sees Aleah running towards her, she then steps out from besides the car and looks the other way.
The whole point of Aleah and Grasso running after her (even with how incompetent she is) was forced as hell. Just a contrived ass setup for her to be killed.

They want us to believe Robbie had this entire elaborate setup to misdirect everyone, only to put his faith in Ray's scamming ass girl (who already tried to jam him up) to give Maeve the money. I know they've built him up to be fantastical, but even that is a bridge too far, especially with the hysteria he would've been in.
He already knew the FBI had Ray, so why would he trust Shelley with the drugs when they easily could've been surveilling her.
The show has given us absolutely no reason to trust her besides one brief exchange of her claiming she wants to leave Ray, particularly when we know she's an unreliable narrator (which Robbie even reinforces by saying why should he trust her).
