I took it as Tom telling her he suspects they have a mole, so she called someone to investigate the situation. She got the report back that Grasso has a history, so she told Tom. Unless there's something else that happened that I'm forgetting?

- She found out the info that Grasso had a history of being a rat at the start of Episode 5.
- She then got into the car with Grasso (and the rest of the task force) to capture Robbie at the end of Episode 5.
- She only then told Brandis at the end of Episode 6 (after she was recovering) about what she had learnt about Grasso despite not caring for it last episode.

It's a plot hole.

What makes it worse is, she only told Brandis when he went to her crib to check on her two days after the fact. So we're looking at possibly 3-4 days where she knew about Grasso but didn't tell Brandis, and only told him when he showed up at her place.

The moment she found out about the formal complaint that Grasso was allegedly a rat for the Dark Hearts in the past, she should've pulled him from the task force, or at the very least told Brandis right then.

I wonder if the bikers gonna try and come after Maeve? I dont think anything leads back to her though, no reason for them to suspect she had the drugs.
The fight scenes were good as hell. I was like "Get that nikka Robbie!!!! ". I knew it was over when Tom won against Perry and that face Robbie was making.

Hoping we see Freddy again, but no real reason to go back there I guess.

Aleah was lighting them bikers up. Showing why she won the sharpshooter competition two years in a row.
Lizzie got fukked up, like damn. They did it nice too. I knew something was gonna happen but didnt think of that. I was like maybe Lizzie sees the truck and tries to shoot them and Jayson shoots her back. Nope straight up ran over.

She didn't give a heads up because the show wants us to believe she conveniently found out this information after Lizzie was killed, as if we're supposed to believe the head of this FBI branch only got information regarding a "formal complaint" after two entire episodes, all the while shyt was getting leaked left, right and center.

As much as this show wants to give off the appearance of how grounded it is, they've tried to stretch the suspension of disbelief well beyond the world they've created.

EDIT:

Actually, she did find out that info during Episode 5, but went all that time without informing Brandis, even went out into the field with him and Grasso to capture Robbie, all the while knowing full well he was likely the mole. That makes the writing even worse.

The other things you mentioned don't bother me as much but this is a legitimate plot hole. Excused a bit by Robbie being kidnapped but still the FBI at large would shelve the rest of the task force if they suspected a mole.

I wanted the mole to be the Chick in charge. I was disappointed at it being ole boy. Kinda ruined the show for me since I felt like that was cliche and anti climatic.

Also at this point the only person I wanted to see take out Jayson was Robbie and they aren’t doing that.

this is what I thought. I could have sword she was on the phone leaking early in the series.

Grasso works better as the mole for me. He's a younger cop and it's been made clear that some of the veteran police in his unit are working with the bikers, he either got a taste of some extra side money and it's gone left or they covered something up for him as a rookie and now he owes them. Either way, it makes more sense than the old broad being a mole. Grasso has a lot of built up remorse whereas that vet cop couldn't have given a fukk

Jason getting in a shootout with the fbi rather than taking the L. And the other bikers going along with it.

None of the officers calling for backup immediately after shots were fired.

Lizzie stupid ass running around like chicken with her head cut off. Like she don't got a whole nother fukking ear. That whole scenario was legit some trash ass writing.

Jayson doing that makes sense. He's an idiot hothead. He killed Billy be beating him to death because he is a hothead. Other bikers went along with it because he is the leader of the crew. Perry was stupid for going along with it but he probably feeling guilty about killing Eryn and Jayson like his son

How did you miss the fact that was a plot? They were going to call for backup. Their walkie talkies only worked locally. As soon as the shots went out or Goonie's girl got shot they sent ppl to go to the car for backup.

That is what Lizzie were going to do before they ran into the bikers. Grasso was actively working on stopping /delaying Lizzie from calling.
Aleah immediately went to the bridge to call for backup after she got Goonie girl to saftey.

Your complaint was "they didnt immediately call for backup", They were immediately trying to call for backup. They tried to get back to the car(mobile unit) to call for backup liek goonie girl said.

• Tom beats up the old biker and just leaves him there No cuffs, nothing. Just allows him to escape.
• One half hour conversation with a violent kidnapping fugitive and suddenly the head of the task force is buddy buddy with him? He abandoned his team in a shootout so he can take dude to the hospital
  
• Going into a raid/potential shootout with no automatic weapons

The acting from Robbie, Grasso, Maeve and Tom is the show's only saving grace.
