Good show that started strong but became mid to me at the end because of far too common tropes for the sake of a happy ending. Good acting otherwise but the scenario was too average and I didn't really care about the family side of Tom, I don't think it brought that much to the show.

Also am I supposed to believe that that "good person" lady fronted 11 bricks to a kingpin and got paid no questions asked ?

Snowfall level of absurd.

The entire show, start to finish, was an exercise in “am I supposed the believe?” The casting included.

This is a pretty self contained show. I don't really see that happening.

idk how reliable Bill Simmons is on topics like this, but he saying there are rumors of a S2 happening. Idk what that means though.
S2 with Ruffalo or they go the true detective route and S2 with whole new cast.

Was hoping they would go True Detective style and switch the entire cast. Not looking forward to following ruffalo for S2, with his family drama. Hope the crime part is good at least
