I aint work all year (not on the books anyway) since I homeschooled my little one, and collected the pandemic unemployment until it lapsed in Florida. So I'm technically not getting a w-2 this year. I know I still gotta file and I'm in line to get the rest of that child tax credit.. but I've never NOT worked for a full year like this. What do I do? I'd usually Turbotax file when the w-2's would come in.


Can any brehs point me in the right direction?

Unemployment should send you a 1099G. Then you just file like you’ve been.

The state and fed will give you a form for how much they gave you. Sometimes the state taxes unemployment depending on your situation.

Make sure to hit up Ali Express to buy direct and avoid the eBay/Amazon middle man tax breh. Save some money that way.

People who got that child tax credit through the year, you will be in for that rude awakening on the tax returns this year. There are gonna be so many mad people. I feel bad for tax preparers.

That's exactly why we opted not to get it.
