anyway, as an irs employee i imagine it's gonna be similar to last year
everyone that claimed stimulus checks (1&2) on their returns had to go through an extra step of validation. that still applies for the third checks for this year.
validating the (up to) 6 advance ctc payments this year might be even worse.
gonna be another sh!tshow.
around this time last year we had a backlog of 10 million unprocessed tax returns
we've cut that all the way down to 6 million . in other words, don't spend that money just yet.
