Taye Diggs is not a stand up comedian and he isn't considered a comedic actor. Let's be real none of those dudes you named were actors first and none of them were popular for the looks. Taye Diggs was a semi successful actor and black male sex symbol. Now he's dressing in drag on Broadway, it's a little bit odder in his case because he's not a list but he's fairly known in the mainstream with a few hits under his belt already. It almost feels like him dressing in drag was a step backwards especially when he's built a reputation off his female fan base. It's even more emasculating when you factor that in.
