i feel that and if it wasnt for my homie using it when we were kids, i would have never heard it til i got around white people, cause again he was just doing it on some joke shyt. i honestly didnt even know it was that bad of a word until i got around white women that were being all offended by it...

1st time I heard the word was from my white friend back in 3rd grade lol. On the flipside I remember back in elementary school when the teacher would do class readings with books that had words like hoe and dike and the blacks kids would be cracking up:lolbron: while the white kids would be like:jbhmm::ld: and the white teacher would be like:beli::merchant::upsetfavre:

i just dont like that in 2016 we still on some "black people dont..." type shyt. why we dont?..

I feel ya

like I remember when i came home from college and this girl went in on me for saying "bro" like i picked it up being around white people....when i was saying bro back in oak cliff cause nikkas was saying it..there was a damn local song where it was in the hook...so yeah, i get sensitive bout that type of shyt cause it shouldnt be a cap on what we can say or do anymore. shyt just irks me

I always heard black people say bro..I never associated that with white people.:dahell:

Complex news report:

According to TMZ, Kanye West ran the line by Taylor Swift before putting it on the album. According to sources close to Taylor, West called her personally to get the okay ahead of time. They also say she gets the joke and is cool with the lyrics. In a statement from Taylor's rep, they said that Taylor never knew the actual lyric on the song, and that she reportedly warned Kanye about releasing something with such a heavy misogynistic message. Read the full statement below.

Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single "Famous" on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, "I made that bytch famous."
See below for the original story.

In another addition to the storied relationship between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, we find new lines about Taylor on West's new album, The Life of Pablo. The lyrics in question are part of Kanye's Hudson Mohawke-produced track, "Famous," featuring Rihanna, Swizz Beats, and Sister Nancy, in which West says, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bytch famous."

Kanye and Taylor have been on good terms for years now, after being spotted having dinner together in New York and Swift telling Vanity Fair straight up that she and West have become friends again. Just months ago, in September of 2015, Kanye sent Taylor flowers after the VMAs; a signal to many fans that their beef was officially over. At that year's awards show, Taylor presented 'Ye with the MTV VMA Video Vanguard Award, and the flowers were speculated to be a thank you gift. This exchange came six years after the infamous stage-crashing incident at the 2009 VMAs.

It seems that Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, has made a statement via Instagram after his sister was name-dropped. He films himself taking a pair of Yeezy Boost 350s straight to the trash can in what fans assume is an act of solidarity for his sister. The caption for the video reads, "Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again." There's no word yet from Taylor Swift on how she feels about her mention on The Life of Pablo, but it's pretty clear that her bro Austin is not too happy about it.
