ab soul is the least known, not seond lol. ab soul currently has no distribution deal for a reason. kenrick and schoolboy got the nod for interscope because of sales of section 80 andh&c. souls release didnt move even half the units so interscope didnt want him. jay rock had a deal with warner and got spins with that weezy single. then dropped an album on strange.

Schoolboy got those sells because hands on the wheel was a smash that summer. Outside of that, who is he mentioned by? His recent album did ghost numbers, then came and went.

Abs didn't sell as much because it wasn't as promoted (look at the content and things he was discussing, compared to the wild, party personality of Q). As for Jay rock, yes he was the one initially that had the buzz and major deal until Kendrick got his buzz and started murdering everything lyrically.

Now, honestly, who really mentions jay rock or even knows who he is outside of that bet cypher (even then ). Ab has next and isn't as unknown as you think (how many features has he been on compared to any other member not named Kendrick...I'll wait

(AllHipHop News) Top Dawg Entertainment has marketed themselves as a close knit group, grassroots-centric Hip Hop collective. However, today (May 2nd) proved to test that with TDE’s CEO responding to Ab-Soul’s threats of leaking his major label debut album.
Yesterday (May 1st), Ab-Soul released a message on his personal Twitter account stating that he may leak his debut album. Earlier today (May 2nd), TDE’s CEO Dangeroo Kipawaa went to his own personal Twitter account to squash the possibility of an album leak from Soul from happening:

Out of the last four projects released from Top Dawg Entertainment in the last year and a half (good kid, mAAd city, Cilvia Demo, Oxymoron, Z) Ab Soul is the only TDE artist to not appear on any of those projects.
