Jay Rock needs to drop some new material and keep it in-house with TDE. He is falling behind.

They release their stuff like clockwork it seems. They dedicate a part of the year to their releases. Last year Schoolboy dropped in January and he did the same this year. No doubt Jay Rock is going to get a release after Kendrick's album if everything goes as planned

I love these nikkas. Got into them after xxl blew Kendrick up,heard Q,and soul on k.dots mixtapes, and was a fan ever since

Found out ab-soul was the real spitter, not Kendrick(y'all give my nikka a listen)

Q a funny ass gangsta(ain't nothin better than a funny rapper man lol)

and jay-rock........a regular gangsta rapper..
Side note...I just heard Gibbs for the first time today, and them nikkas rap alike... I bought that was interesting

I really on fukk with Kendrick & Q.

Ab-Soul. Idk. The few songs i've heard him featured on, his verse ruined the song for me.

Druggys with hoes

I did kinda like his outro on Section.80. I usually skip it to go to hiiipower though :yeshrug:

But my brother just hipped me to one other Black Hippy track, I can't remember the name but I realized he could rap like a normal person. So I might give him & his new tape a spin or two.

I kinda put him and Danny Brown in the same category. Except I like Danny Brown more :smugfavre:

I don't really like Jay Rock too much either. He seems to typical of a gangsta rapper. Freddie Gibbs does his job 10x better. So I probably won't be giving him too many spins.
