Kendrick could have, but I doubt his buzz is enough right now. This shyt is difficult, and it ain't happening with two goddamn singles out, one with a lukewarm response and the other not even on the radio yet.

Not "do well".
Kendrick could have dropped two months ago with zero promotion and "done well". But to do 1,000,000 first week you need more buzz than what he has now and that's accomplished mostly though singles.
