i've noticed that all of the songs i like from this nikka are because of the production :ld: cuz this nikka really dont be sayin anything too substantial or amazing in his bars

and before some nikka comes in here talmbout some "bu-bu-but you dont like him because you one of those production over everything nikkas, listen to his lyrics :sadcam:"

 they're are a good bit of nikkas who i can listen to straight acappella or over a less than amazing beat because their lyrics are interesting and technique-wise are next level, he's not one of those nikkas imo so he needs that extra push production wise to make a dope track :manny:

that cilvia tape makes for good background music or when im drivin, basically situations where im not really listenin to lyrics like that and just vibin to the atmosphere :manny:
I agree that lyrically he ain't the strongest, but flow wise I think he's pretty dope. He knows how to ride a beat and his hooks are pretty good.

Had the best hip hop debut tape I'd heard since A$AP Rocky dropped Live.Love in '11. I still play Cilvia Demo weekly. He has good beat selection and the vibe of his music is chill. 'Tranquility' and 'West Savannah' in particular were smooth as hell. I'm a fan. :yeshrug:

ep was superb, top 5 hip hop related project easily this year

i can play it on end, and i've grown an appreciation for the lyrics over time. again the shyt pretty much hit me the first time and i knew i'd like it, it's clearly not for everyone

that millennials making music for millennials is pretty much my favorite kind of hip hop when its not forced, so im a big fan :manny:

Isaiah Rashad is dope and his album was really good. Arguably the best produced TDE album not named Section.80/GKMC. I think it's obvious clear that TDE believe he can make the leap into the mainstream...more so over Ab-Soul.

However, it's quite clear he's not a battle/punchline rapper so I won't be surprised if his freestyles are underwhelming.
