Im talkin bout 'hype' , before Kendrick came thru and crushed the buildings. It was always on some J.cole vs Drake as who is the greatest new rapper. Cats were calling Cole the new nas and Drake the new Jay.
Now since Kenny slid thru and took the hearts of the rap nerds. Cole aint even in the conversation no more

as a J. Cole "stan" i get what Rominati is sayin here. Cole was always 2nd to Drake and since Drake was on some "mainstream" shyt Cole was seen as the anti Drake. that was until Kendrick showed up and took Cole's spot as the anti Drake pushin Cole to #3. however you went too far sayin fans moved on from Cole. they didn't move on from him they just don't view him as the anti Drake anymore. he still gets a lot of support from fans.
