I have friends and family in that area so this hits close to home for me. Some people will be fooled by the age of the teacher and think, "She's just old and this mentality will die out with her generation". WRONG! This mentality is not only passed down to younger generations, but it is also cultivated and refined over time. Not too long ago a younger teacher in her 20's was caught saying the same thing and there was little to no repercussion. It makes me wonder about the level of hate my teachers carried for me throughout my years in grade school. Nonetheless, this is the breeding ground where teachers instill that idea of self hate into young black children, which is further reinforced by the ideals of society. Why do you think the doll test is still effective today? Because the constant barrage of self hating ideas being filtered to black children never stopped. It just became more refined and sophisticated. I hope this serves as a wakeup call to the black parents in the area to take a commanding role in educating their children with a knowledge of self.

This is just a reminder of whos teaching your kids (little brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews) so this is more of a call to action to be active in debriefing your young ones and putting them up on game. Not just family but the little kids in the neighborhood.

This is also a reminder so that niiggas don't get caught sleeping because if we DON'T talk about stuff like this it will go under the radar and get worse.

A lot of our children's spirits, especially Black males, are crushed long before they even reach high school. It's not just non-Black teachers. We know a lot of them, deep down, despise Black people. It's also a lot of these Black women teachers who bring their Black male hate and low expectations for Black males into the classroom. Looking back on my own childhood, I remember having some Black women teachers who literally crushed the spirits of Black males. shyt was crazy in retrospect.

Bottom line: We need more Black men teaching young, Black male children.

"IF" these things were actually said - It's surprising that the investigation or the news reporter didn't turn up the FACT- that this teacher's teenage daughter was shot and paralyzed by two black kids during a drive by and for no reason about a year ago.
