I can’t name one off top without googling, not off name recognition unless it’s a name that surfaces in the media. Half the time when they make a death announcement, we see a pic, not name recognition. In general, my reaction to their death announcement is “oh shyt, I thought (insert famous white name ) was dead already”
White people really don't have any icons to mourn when they die..
Im definitely open to suggestions though..

They are criticizing Kobe more than the President. White folks been losing their marbles and Kobe hasn’t even been dead a week yet. What’s with this meltdown they are all having? Do they know this ain’t like when they went at Cosby?
Think about it - but I don’t pay attention to them like that, unless it one of theirs that goes from a drug overdose or a former president, something like that. Heath Ledger bc he died during the filming of a popular movie and we only know George Bush Sr died bc of The Obamas.White people really don't have any icons to mourn when they die..

This mfer been holding this in for years. There's no way that his initial reaction to the news of Kobe's death wasn't some twisted sense of joy.

Amazing how known shytheads like Trump and Judd Apatow were able to keep it respectful, but these random white people can't stop flapping their gums. 
Like someone else said, these people have always felt this way about Kobe. It just took his tragic death for the hatred to come out, because they feared him in the physical form. So, now, you have idiots like Evan Rachel Wood popping off at the mouth with shyt they shouldn't have said.
Forget the fact that Kobe's own daughter and seven other innocent people lost their lives in that crash. No, a day after his death, let me talk about how this guy ruined my favorite basketball team and how he did this thing you can't even prove he did......because he didn't do it.
This is very similar to the Leaving Neverland bullshyt last year, but this is even worse because you have hateful people trying to spread hate and spitting on a man's body before the authorities were able to find it.

You must have a shytty life to slander a basketball player that everyone looks up to and inspire people to play a sport that they grow to love. imagine the slander Jordan will get when he is gone. “He was a gambler and a bully to Steve Curr!!!

“ white folks aint shyt People conflate "having an opinion" with being insensitive. The man is leaving behind a wife and 3 daughters while also losing one of his own, that's not the way you voice displeasure at some of his life choices.
Even then, the case was filled with so many shaky details and weird information, it was a situation where it's hard to form an opinion on what really happened + Kobe completely rebuilt his image and made no public blunders after the incident, and was nothing but an exemplary role model and father figure up til his death. So it's really not the teacher's right to vilify Kobe when the man is dead and try to sway the impressions of young students while he's at it. Stfu and let him rest in peace because nobody's perfect.
