Too tired to think of something witty to say...
To me it doesn't matter if he was talking to my child or anyone else.... me and little buddy would have a private talk that he wouldn't like.
As a educator he should be encouraging these children and nurturing them... not tearing them down.
What makes this even more despicable that he is a black man saying this to a black child.
If anything you would think he would be able to at least empathize with these students knowing that the odds are already stacked against them.
I don't think that he should be fired... but I do think that he should be severely reprimanded and made to apologize publicly.
But we all know if he apologizes that it won't be a sincere one. He will only be saying it because he is being forced to.
I wonder how he would feel if sent his child to school only for the teacher to demean and belittle them?
