You mean a resurgence?
Detroit street rap was never relevant in hip-hop, Blade Icewood a Detroit legend and most people never heard of him.

We don't count the drill movement as a Chicago resurgence because the previous Chicago rappers didn't sound anything like them, sonically or subject matter wise.

When I say Detroit rap might get its moment I mean Detroit street rap. Not Dilla, Black Milk, Big Sean, Eminem.

Thier is no way you can WIN at this game.......

Because you dont decide when its time to go hard or fall back when you in the level of the game

Its the FEDS that make that decision.....

i won't say much, but i was heavy in the streets up until just a few years ago, I'm 30 now.

i don't drink in public, i don't smoke, I don't take pics or let anyone take pics of me.

I truthfully don't get these so called "street dudes" who crave and bring so much attentions to themselves.

Its almost like they treat life as a game, till they are locked in a cell.

2? That’s it? Who he snitchin on?
Look at the initial charges, they didn't really charge Peezy with anything other than being part of the "gang".

As much as people fear RICO, these organized crime cases fall apart a lot and then they just stick each individual with what they actually got caught on.

What I wanna know is why does it seem like every case in Detroit whether big or petty gets picked up by the feds. Is DPD really that trash that federal law enforcement has to come in to bust cliques of teenagers?

FEDS set up shop in Detroit in the mid 90s and aint never left. Also Benny Napolean called them in during the late late 90s or early 2000s because of all the Police involved shootings of black folks.

FEDS went from bustin big time drug dealers in the D -- to busting local government officials in the mid 2000s -- to now focusing on catching all these neighborhoods dudes on RICO charges.
