The PnR era is dead. Unless you have a superstar ball handler like Luka, teams ain’t running PnRs like that. The Heat run no PnRs.

More teams are playing like the 2014 Spurs which itself was a modern version of 1960s style 5 man basketball.

Iso ball also making a comeback except it’s completely different from ‘90s plumber era isoball. Unlike the '90s where space was artificially created through illegal defense rules, teams create space through constant movement and passing, which makes for a better overall offense than just one guy pounding the rock. Add to that role players being better and more skilled down to the 15th man and :ohlawd:

All the fake oldhead talking points from the 2010s Warriors era are now obsolete ("moving screens", "spamming PnRs", "everybody plays the same", etc..). Gonna have to update your hardware for the new era. :lolbron:

I thought memphis was the one running what Draymond describe as a weird offense under Toumas Ilsalo or the other assistant coach who got axed last year. Writing was on the wall for the former grizzlies coach. Memphis and Wizards were competing for Toumas services and memphis apparently paid a lot to have breh there. Let me watch the video maybe they mention that. Miami has just been impressive in how they just win. Now are running a two big man line up with Bam no longer at C. Powell just showing to be a producer and now Tyler Herro is back. I respect that as much if not more than selling out for multiple years to get guys who can finally compete. Although going through it now there's something fun about watching the beginning of players careers.
