I'm in nc. I saw in the paper a few weeks ago, that the nba might send the bobcats to Seattle and bring the hornets back to Charlotte.

I am NOT a sex offender
i don't get why they don't move to brooklyn

Actually the Nets have made a pitch for the Islanders to play in Brooklyn. The only problem is that the arena was built solely for basketball without hockey in mind. Apparently this means that you'd have some obstructed view seats in it during hockey games. Also NHL commissioner Gary Bettman complained that the commute to Brooklyn to see the Islanders would be difficult for existing Islander fans. Personally, I think the commute to Kansas City or Quebec would be even worse!

So, anyway, its possible they move to Brooklyn. I think the owner's preference is to get a new arena in Long Island or maybe even Queens, but Brooklyn doesn't seem to be out of the question.

Oregon
raiders coliseum is just ass cheeks and the fans in/around oakland arent going to their games.

this was true for a while but they have been playing a lil better these last few years and fans have been going to games more. Last season Oakland sold out all 8 home games.

The Islanders lease is up at Nassau in 2015 I believe, and if they don't get a new arena or an upgrade to the existing one they'll probably move. Maybe to Quebec City or even Markham, Ontario

The most realistic choice in this thread.

Never going to happen but NY needs to rid itself of these embarrassing franchises...Mets, Jets and Knicks...

There is no need for the Mets and Jets...One plays in jersey and the other is a glorified minor league squad...Call them the LI Mets and NJ Jets...
