Man, they been teasing us with this shyt for 13 years. I ain't about to get my hopes up again since they've cancelled this project 3 times already (animé & CGI). If they do produce this, I HOPE it isn't a big pile of steaming bull-vomit like Space Battleship: Yamato was in 2010.

Hell, I wasn't even happy about the re-boot they did on Cartoon Network a few years ago. That shyt SUCKED!!!! If you've never seen the show, un-edited, in-full, the whole series is on youtube. None of that '7-Zark-7', nonsense they fed to us in the 80's. OMFG I HATED THAT THING.....AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO GIVE HIM A LITTLE ROBOT DOG!!!!​

That was actually better than the animé, but that ain't saying much.

I guess I'm jaded, but with the level of effects they can create now, there's no excuse for these terribad adaptations IMO.​

That's why I liked it. It was so bad it was entertaining as hell! It was also pretty true to the manga.....even included the face sliding down the wall and Kakihara cutting-off his own tongue.​
