in all fairness somehow some way dude managed to get victories despite the fact that he seemingly can't play the position. the team had a lot to do with it but still he won. he's getting the T.O. treatment now despite the fact that he has a wholesome image as a devout christian.

John Elway damn near ended dude's career. in all honesty i'd like to see him get his final shot but unless somebody gets desperate his career is likely over.

:patrice: It's kinda hard to get past that though. I highly doubt that teams were looking at him in practice and saying "Wow he looks amazing. I'm sure he would play well in real games. But he's really famous and known for having a wholesome image so we are gonna trade him/not play him/release him just because." He got on a fortuitious role a couple years ago but he never really showed himself to be even a good QB. In today's NFL you cannot consistently win 13-10 games running an offense straight out of the 1930s.

P.S.- :comeon: at "TO treatment". The nikka is 40! If he was 30 and still in top form he would still have a job right now.

he is extremely fortunate that Josh McDaniels was an idiot and took him in the first round.

He is also lucky that he has this following

the guy is not an NFL QB

The Jets fukked him worse than Elway

:wtf:

How'd they fukk him?

He was brought in knowing that we wanted to use him in his own wildcat package. Granted .. the Jets didn't know how to go about it properly .. but in the second half of the year.. he was already bytching and moaning and saying he didn't wanna be a wildcat quarterback. He wanted to be the full time QB.

fukk him and his holier than thou attitude. I cant stand that fakkit.

I think the fact that Mcdaniels took him that high is what killed him. I don't feel bad for him mainly becuz he can't play the position.

I see no reason the Jags shouldn't sign Tebow. Lets be real, they could use some media attention and he cant do any worse than Gabbert.

Took a losing team to the 2nd week of the playoffs and hasn't started a game since :smh: You can't tell me this guy doesn't deserve the chance to start for some team.

I can only imagine the outrage on here if Tebow was a nikka :smh:

People are overreacting on Gabbert. He made progress last season and to do it w/o Mojo cripppled our running game and we had a poor line outside of Eugene Monroe. He will never be GREAT, but he wasn't the reason we sucked last year....
