Recruiters talking $ ≠ finalized offer

Don't get gassed and play yourself

.... maybe they can do the job but have never done that specific thing?
Yeah and in my line of current work that’s the difference between engagement and rejection unfortunately. The market is too clogged with talent to not have the ability to be extremely picky and specific for fit :manny:

Have an in office interview tomorrow.

The HR person from overseas accidentally called me on WhatsApp about 15 minutes ago. It was quick enough that I didn’t get to pick up. And then she sent an email to set up a phone call for after the interview.
Good luck on your interview tomorrow.

She should use the white guy profile to say, "I'm not interested, but I have a friend who is..." and send the recruiters to her real profile.
You are right though it's a disgrace this happens. I've had interviews where they see this is not a hotel guy and the white women's demeanor changes and is lackadaisical about getting the call over with

I tell people in tech at least 80% of the first interview is a young white Chick outta college. I usually has them up and tell them they are very knowledgeable in answering all my questions and they have made me even more interested in joining the company

I signed the offer letter yesterday and I start on the 21st. I had said 2 weeks after offer to start, but they want me to start earlier. So now it's a week and a half instead. And the offer letter says, “Time off: More information on this policy will be available when you start”
:beli:
I've just received an interview request for a job with a salary range that's from 20 to 50k more than the offer I just signed. Yeah... I gotta go for it.

These companies won’t show you any loyalty if and when you need them the most. Go for it.

Just got laid off last Thursday. There was a company wide Reduction in Force and I got caught in this wave. Lousy mfs don't offer a traditional severance either. I can't complain because I still have another job. I've been working 2 for a while and I know too many people with none. Yall remember to put you and your families first. fukk these companies. Get all you can.
