Damn 7 - 8 years ago, you could hop from job to job with no problem.


We need to vote for politicians who make it an agenda to ensure the job market is more starving for workers vs tight on jobs.


A consumer beneficial economy will always have plenty of job openings
Fed gotta drop the rates. Decided not to again yesterday.

One of the reasons Trump is trying to force this recession. To force their hand on it.

I need to look into how they’re so protected against his executive orders but he’s been able to get off all of his crazy shyt.

Combo of High rates, AI, and the banks/government tightening up on loans and yeahhhhhh shyt is nasty nasty rn :francis:

Amazon/AWS has wayyyyyyyy too many managers

You will have your direct manager, then your skip level manager, then that MFs manager, then a director, then a vp, then another vp, then another vp and finally the CEO

And if your manager is somehow a L5 you can add another manager to that chain. shyt is ridiculous

I took it to mean that if they included black workers it would include a lot more people and cause them to pay a lot more people and all the people in the lawsuit threw black folks under the bus and said fukk us.

That’s basically all big corporations.

Most senior managers don’t know diddly squat tech wise and if they do it’s a very surface level amount of knowledge.

I’m guessing those upper managers are just in meetings all day. They don’t even create their own meetings, they have someone else to do that lol.

Those are potential positions for employees to work to.. positions that pay more money.. when you say "needs to happen" needs to happen for who exactly?? Thats just more money going into Besos pocket vs employees that contribute to the GDP

The employer/employee dynamic is off balanced.

I think it's time for a nationwide 2-4 week boycott and strike of all employers.

Something to let them know the work relationship is 50/50, that they're aren't just doing people a favor by hiring someone.

it needs to happen, because if the company is bloated they will have layoffs...its inevitable

Rather than laying off individual contributors, get rid of the slew on managers that don't do shyt. I much rather this than hearing they are killing entire departments like they did last year. This is the first amazon layoff that I dont have a problem with.
