My manager just got laid off. They laid off one of the DBAs I had lunch with 2 a few weeks ago. This is my first experience going through an acquisition/merger.

- Finished interview rounds for a AAA gaming company.
- In talks with another AAA gaming company.
- Turned down something from Major League Baseball.
- Upcoming interview for an Architect role at Apple.
- Upcoming interview for a Staff Engineering role at another FAANG.
- In talks with xAI.

Someone reached out from Apple and quickly scheduled an interview for an architect role.

Again, plenty of opportunities out there. Get after it.
