I learned a trick to increase memory by reading a few pages out this book at the book store..

Say you have 10 or so items you need to pick up from the grocery store,,

Like lemons, ketchup, candy, meat, etc.

Well you make up a story,.

Something like this..

Today I got out of bed and was thirsty as hell and I went outside and this girl was selling LEMONADE, I bought a cup and I walked down the street and there was a murder scene and the blood looked like KETCHUP..then it started to rain and after then rain there was a rainbow and CANDY fell from the sky..I started to run and a cow(MEAT)blocked my path..etc..

Me and my gurl tried it with 10 items and it worked,,we were able to remember all of them..

You can't actually increase the amount of memory you can retain, but it is not necessary because we have all the necessary space for retention it is the method of acquisition of these memories that must be changed. Our short term memory can only retain 7 things at a time plus or minus 2. In order to remember things better it is necessary to make connections to the things you are learning in order to simplify it and make recall easier. Say for instance you are learning the spanish word for hot which is "calore" a possible connection to make with the meaning of the word is that it look like the english word "calorie". Now if you remember from health class a calorie is a unit of heat and therefore you visualize "calore" being hot by thinking of calorie every time you see the word. This strategy combines visualization and recognition and enables an easier recollection from memory. This is the key to memorization.

:skip: are you dead?

Sorry mang, I wasn't noticing any benefits from that laser protocol so I scrapped it.

However, if your'e looking for long term memory there's something you can try called the ciltep stack that I heard has produced some pretty noticeable benefits.

http://naturalstacks.com/products/ciltep

but if you want to make your own, you can buy the ingredients straight from walmart/vitamin shoppe.

You take:
900mg artichoke extract
5mg forskolin. If you see a label saying 50mg forskolin, with 10% extract, take the percentage off the bigger number (50mg) and that'll leave you with 5mg, which is the number to go by.
500mg l-phenylanine
b-complex
1000mg acetyl l-carnitine

comes out to be ~$30 and you can get the ingredients at your local Sprouts.

Take with a cup of coffee about 30 min later, and if you're one of the lucky ones your memory will improve dramatically with results within a couple of days, if not immediately. Also keep in mind, less is more with the forskolin. If you don't respond when mixing with 5mg forskolin, try lowering it.

I ended up being a non-responder, and even some anxiety when I'd take it. Some people say their working memory gets sightly blunted even though they have photographic memory-like ability. You'll have to see for yourself.

Mega-thread talking about it, with hundreds(?) of people talking about the experiences:

Good luck breh.
