@BelowTheMasonDixon You seem shaky and rattled by this. it's nothing new and has been going on for centuries. those self-driving cars will still need mechanics to fix them and electric cars will need charging stations built across the nation. it'll suck for some low-skilled workers but it'll also present new opportunities for them to develop a skill to get a job that'll hopefully pay more and enjoy.
The only thing I'm rattled about is the lack of reading comprehension.
Unlike in the centuries past. These jobs will not need humans to complete. Robots will be creating other robots to do jobs humans would typically be doing. Ya'll keep missing that point. It may not be in our lifetime but then again who know's. I'm 33 I'll be 60 in 2043 That's 27 years from now. I'll still be in the workforce and most of you all will be what just turning 50 so it's not that far off. By that time automation could very well have taken over 80% of all jobs.
