the government had tech

the average American doesn't

The government? :what:
Which patents or innovations were done by the government, breh?
In America, advancements are made as a result of capitalist interests.
Those interests are controlled by, in most cases, publicly held corporations.

"The government"... :mjlol:

Yes, no, and yes.

Outside of CERN, What have any of those countries contributed to the world, technologically, in the last 50 years that even comes CLOSE to what the US has done over the same time frame?

Dog, the US has a robot on fukking Mars, and you're talking about credit card readers? :dahell:

as a government yeh, but the average American isn't. do you even travel the world?

I don't need to travel the world to know this. We have this technology here in the USA that allows us to find things out without even having to travel. :ohhh:

I get the point you are trying to make but nobody is fukking with the USA when it comes to technology. We all know this except you but do you.

take what L?

what was said is a blatant lie, the average American is way behind in terms of technology

you guys don't even have touch card technology and just got chip and pin technology
the majority of you drive with gps on your phone, looking down in your lap for directions because your cars don't have built in gps
your cars don't even have video/bluray or even dvd players built in
majority of your homes are not smart homes, gotta stand up and manually turn lights off
internet speeds in most places other than major cities are horrible
your phone plans are trash,
the list goes on and on

furthermore you never even travelled the world, so even your bank balance is outdated.

To be honest I've been to practically every continent except Antarctica through the military and your statement really isn't true.

There are definitely countries out there that have made alot of advances but overall I would still have to say the average US person is still far advanced then most other countries.

Touch card technology is out there but people dont use it because people are use to using technology that works well already swipe and chips. Apple pay is already popular.

People use their phone GPS because Google Maps is better then nearly every GPS option any vehicles have. I have personally have GPS bulit into my car but i still use Google maps because its far better.

Cars here usually dont have DVD or Blu Ray players because by law you arent allowed to watch video and drive on the Center console. However, nearly all SUV have blu ray or atleast a dvd player

Ill concede your point about smart homes since it is rare for people in the states to use smart home devices.

What does Internet speed have to do with anything? Most Americans are using broadband speeds or above. You will be hard pressed to find anyone using dial up or 56K internet

Not sure what you mean by Phone plans being technological? You need to elaborate

more advanced than most, I agree

the most advanced? no way.

I have dual citizenship and England alone is far advanced in tech for the average person, so is Dubai, so is japan, and so is Sweden.
breh weak excuse about googlemaps, a lot of the cars I go in usa don't even have built in gps, so the phone is the only option. most cars in usa don't even have surround sound or ability to watch movies or use the internet.

yes usa has broadband but most of the speeds outside big cities are slow

phone plans are horrible in usa, when I take my us phone to Europe I have to pay roaming charges, which is insane. this doesn't happen in UK, if I take my uk phone most places on the planet there are no roaming charges. also usa has data caps.

most people in usa also drive old cars, in uk if your car is 5 years old is near embarrassing

like I said the phone line cables are overhead, like its the 4ucking 70s, no reason phone lines should be overhead on wooden poles.

you gotta pay to withdraw YOUR OWN MONEY FROM YOUR BANK smh,

americans only within the past 3 years did HDTV become a norm, even now I sometimes enter American homes and people have big back TVs

because a lot of americans are poor a lot can't even afford every game console, they have to pick one console and live with it

this one pisses me off the most, usa doesn't have MOBILE CARD READERS... so if Im at a restaurant, the waiter has to take my card away from my table, away from my sight, and then input the card details then bring it back to me. instead of allowing me to pay at my table.
