So on which legal basis the "birthers" were lying on ?

I'm positive their whole angle was that he wasn't born in the US(the guy is black he can't be American anyways!) so therefore he shouldn't be able to be President. There were a lot crazy speculations at the time and the right threw so many stories out that they just wanted anything to stick.

So republicans are getting mad at something they made, and blaming it obama. Ted Cruz is pushing it too? I, myself, don't have a problem with common core. its regular. but you can't create something yourself then get mad at other people for spilling your own milk. What are they? 2 and 3 quarters years old? :mindblown: They're a joke of a political party

Dude, he can't even be president.

Remember, you can't be president of the United States unless you're a "natural born Citizen."

This is the biggest issue about this fakkit.
his mom is a citizen

Ted Cruz’s Foreign Policy Advisor: End Nuclear Negotiations, Start War With Iran

John Bolton, the former U.N. ambassador and informal foreign policy advisor to presidential candidate Ted Cruz, is advocating for the bombing of Iran.

In an op-ed published in Thursday’s New York Times, Bolton slams the Obama administration’s ongoing negotiations to contain Iran’s nuclear program as unrealistic, and argues that “only military action like Israel’s 1981 attack on Saddam Hussein’s Osirak reactor in Iraq or its 2007 destruction of a Syrian reactor, designed and built by North Korea, can accomplish what is required.”

“The inescapable conclusion is that Iran will not negotiate away its nuclear program,” Bolton writes. A military attack, carried out in conjunction with Israel, on the country’s uranium enrichment facilities and other targets “could set back its program by three to five years.”

Bolton, a strong proponent of Bush’s 2003 invasion of Iraq, has a long and sordid history of advocating for military campaigns that fail to live up to his expectations. In 2002, while serving in the Bush administration as United States Under-Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, Bolton assured Americans that, “We are confident that Saddam Hussein has hidden weapons of mass destruction and production facilities in Iraq.” “I expect that the American role actually will be fairly minimal. I think we’ll have an important security role,” he claimed.

His current predictions about Iran could prove just as faulty.

American and Israeli military leaders warn that any strike against Iran would only set Iran back two or three years and could gravely destabilize the region. As former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, who served under presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, predicted, such action would “bring together a divided nation, it will make them absolutely committed to obtaining nuclear weapons.” The Bush administration also considered military intervention in Iran but decided against it after concluding that bombing “would guarantee that which we are trying to prevent — an Iran that will spare nothing to build a nuclear weapon and that would build it in secret” and would likely require military occupation.

Experts point out that a strike against Iran “could not be accomplished in a single sortie and would require employing much greater force than Israel used against Iraq and Syria.” While Iraq and Syria relied on outside suppliers for their nuclear capabilities and were thus unable to rebuild their programs, “Iran would not need outside help” and will reconstitute a more covert operation, a 2008 report published by the Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) claims.

According to press accounts, the United States, Iran, Britain, France, Russia, China and Germany, are now closing the gap around an agreement that would establish a regime of strict inspections for at least a decade and controls on Iran’s uranium enrichment — preventing it from obtaining enough materials for weaponization. Should Iran comply, the international community would then lift economic sanctions against the country. Obama insists that the United States would only sign off on an agreement that ensures that each pathway to a bomb is closed off.

Ted Cruz

Education

Cruz attended high school at Faith West Academy in Katy, Texas,[32] and later graduated from Second Baptist High School in Houston as valedictorian in 1988.[31] During high school, Cruz participated in a Houston-based group called the Free Market Education Foundation where he learned about free-market economic philosophers such as Milton Friedman, Friedrich Hayek, Frédéric Bastiat and Ludwig von Mises.[26] The program was run by Rolland Storey and Cruz entered the program at the age of 13.[24]

Cruz graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy[33] from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1992.[4][6] While at Princeton, he competed for the American Whig-Cliosophic Society's Debate Panel and won the top speaker award at both the 1992 U.S. National Debating Championship and the 1992 North American Debating Championship.[34] In 1992, he was named U.S. National Speaker of the Year, as well as Team of the Year, with his debate partner, David Panton.[34] Cruz was a semi-finalist at the 1995 World Universities Debating Championship, making him Princeton’s highest-ranked debater at the championship.[35][36] Princeton's debate team later named their annual novice championship after Cruz.[35]

Cruz's senior thesis on the separation of powers, titled "Clipping the Wings of Angels," draws its inspiration from a passage attributed to President James Madison: "If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary." Cruz argued that the drafters of the Constitution intended to protect the rights of their constituents, and that the last two items in the Bill of Rights offer an explicit stop against an all-powerful state. Cruz wrote: "They simply do so from different directions. The Tenth stops new powers, and the Ninth fortifies all other rights, or non-powers."[37][38]

After graduating from Princeton, Cruz attended Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree.[6][39] While at Harvard Law, he was a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review, and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review.[4] Referring to Cruz's time as a student at Harvard Law, Professor Alan Dershowitz said, "Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant."[40][41] At Harvard Law, Cruz was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics.[10]

Cruz currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Texas Review of Law and Politics.[10][42]

I'm not sure what posting the 'crybaby seal' used against the Democrats is. He has to meet the qualifications for the Presidency as laid out by the Constitution of the United States:

"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

That's it. On paper, you don't need to be Ivy League, belong to one or the other political party -- or any political party, have a thousand degrees, a thousand papers, a thousand awards, the right family name, the right income level. On paper, you only have to:

1) Be at least Thirty Five
2) Have spent at least Fourteen Years within the United States
3) Be a Citizen.

That's all well and good -- but the Psycho Religious Nuts tried to torpedo Obama and McCain by claiming that neither was a citizen, in spite of McCain being born of decorated Navy military stock of two US citizen parents in Panama, and Obama being born of one US citizen in the state of Hawaii.

It's about the hypocrisy of those now holding Cruz up.
