I can't say never but they are mostly a certain color. Not black either. Black people don't panhandle. They hustle. Also, boo for taking shots at the homeless, less fortunate or other races.

Most people I see begging are either black or white... They are legitimately struggling. it's the family structure of blacks and whites. Kids that fail are pushed out of the nest. Hispanics and Asians don't do that for the most part.


I have seen the odd Hispanic beggar, but never one of those Mayan "Pisa" types. More often than not, if they look Hispanic it's those gypsy con artists fukking with people and giving people who legitimately struggle a bad name.

In another way though, this is why all the American superstars and celebrities and either black or white, and why blacks are seriously overrepresented in the media as compared to Hispanics and other minorities.

Whites and blacks are alpha-type people who take risks. They are willing sleep on the streets to realize their dreams. Hispanics and Asians take the safe routes in life--taking boring 9-5s with varying levels of prestige. But, when people go to cities like NYC, LA or SF to chase some high risk creative job, there are very few winners and a lot of losers. Losing in the big cities means succumbing to drugs, pornography, and homelessness. It's even worse for women because there are pimps and other predators waiting to take advantage of their fragile and defeated egos.

Been in LA (Westlake/MacArthur Park) for a year and can count on one hand how many times I've been approached by a Hispanic asking for money.

Never an Asian and I'm always in K-Town.

Mostly whites and blacks.

Just so we're clear Cruz is not reflective of most hispanics.

i used to go to the lavanderia when i lived in North Hollywood and the woman stayed sending their little kids to go around asking for change...i used to see downtrodden Latinos all the time out there...

As a matter of fact I saw a Hispanic family of four panhandling just off the Walmart lot asking for money. Even the toddler was holding up a sign trying to get that sympathy change.
