This is just stupid. The league is getting set up to be a wide open competition again in the next few years (no more Spurs dominance, LeBron's aging, KD possibly leaving the Warriors). This is literally the perfect fukking season for them to tank. Draft a Zion or RJ and who knows what a team with a transcendent talent like that could do in 3 years with 2 other all stars.

And i mentioned in another thread, I seen this story but more and more is coming out. It was confirmed that wall was the source of beef with a number of players and coaches. Beal at the time said "I been dealing with this for 7yrs"

I seriously don't see John Wall coming back if we make the 2nd rd. Guess who WILL take that contract. It'll be magical

I'm not even a huge fan of tanking cuz it depends too much on the quality of the draft in a given year, ability to evaluate talent which many GM's suck at and then the ability to sign and keep your star after their rookie deal...but its usually the easiest option a shytty team has...and at least its a plan. Terrible owner
