Pure Facts

The politics and payola is the main thing I hate about boxing. Khan wasn't winning that fight unless he knocked Canelo out. So not only does an underdog have to concede to all the negotiation demands, but after that they basically have to concede all the scorecards for the duration of the fight. shyts pathetic and Teddy is right, nikkas out here risking death and CTE. The least they can get is a fair shake

"Think about it, it happens every day to fighters you don't see. But the fighters feel it" can't even front that touched a nerve. Forget Lara V Nelo or Nelo losin a MD to Floyd :mjlol: this shyt gotta stop. Too much Gov oversight can be bad, but from unions to "cleanin up" roids in baseball or cte in the NFL, it can make it right some what.

people just don' like to count body punches for some reason
most body punches do no damage but one good body shot can turn a fight around. you really need to have good eyes to know how to score body punches. most right hands to the body do no true damage. thats why right hand body shot kos are very rare in boxing. there are no vital organs where a right hand to the body can hit. most body punches do no damage and are scored but many good body punches go unnoticed and are never scored too. thats a tricky thing to score the right way. and even harder when you have an agenda.

I believe canelo was the right just to measure him the first few rounds. In the sixth round before the KO he touched him with right to the body and immediately followed up with left up top when khan dropped his hands but he also scored with jabs to the body, and landed the left hook to the body at times as well throughout the fight.

khan dropped his hands because it looked like canelo was about to go back down stairs, when he got KO'd, so it had to play some kind of factor throughout the fight.

that wasnt why khan dropped his hands.

khan reached out to try to parry a feint and threw a counter jab in the same motion.

he was trying to do this.

canelo slipped khans jab and threw a counter right hand over it. then khan tried throw a check hook over canelos right hand. khans hands were down because he was trying to parry a feint with his right hand and trying to throw a check hook over a right hand with his left hand while his jab was still extended. very sloppy. ran into the right hand trying to throw a check hook. thats a ko you see a lot in boxing. that was how teddy saw it and that was how i saw it.

khan was supposed to wait to bring back the jab before throwing the check hook over the right hand. floyd was doing that to canelo here and there in their fight. khan and hunter should have worked on coming over counter right hands with check hooks in training camp more being that canelo always throws them a whole lot.

He was able to feint the jab to the stomach because of the constant body attack, he did a few times in a fight and Amir reacted the same way countering with the jab

that's why he didn't just feint he stepped in at the same time because he knew how khan would react.

he did the same thing against cotto

well heres the gif.

you tell me if thats a feint to the body and a parry of a feint to the body or if it is what i said it was.

If what you said was what he was thinking there's no reason for his right hand to be dropped. He didn't try to catch canelo's jab with his glove like the gif you showed in your first post .
Canelo feinted to the body, Khan extended his jab on instinct like he had being doing the entire fight, any time Canelo would go down Amir would counter with his own jab and step back. You see Amir Khan moving back after throwing the jab, Canelo knew this, which is why he didn't just feint like he did earler to see the reaction, he STEPPED IN to close distance because he knew Amir would move back. amir dropped his right hand to protect his body because he had got hit with a left hook right before that exchange.

I think this definitely shows how shook khan was of canelo's body shots.

he clearly see's the body shot coming after the jab and he drops both his arms trying dodge it. canelo followed up with a beautiful left hook

just look how marked up khan's ribs were

and here's a clip of cotto damn near spinning his whole body just to avoid a canelo body shot
