this generation needs a teddy riley type of artist/producer of today.

in teddy's day he was producin' for almost any and everybody from heavy d to michael jackson. music needs someone with the talent and vision teddy had in his day to help bring somethin' new and great to the table.

it was so cool how teddy was influenced by zapp and roger and mixed that influenced with many other influences of other artists and genres of music and came up with new jack swing.

the music sounds so clean!

I don't think people know how dope Teddy is, the remixes he did in the late nineties where he was just following everybody w/ the hot club loop of the day. He was trying to catch up to Diddy,Wyclef,

but he was doing shyt like this:

by the late 90's teddy was just crusin'' off of his work of the mid 80's to mid 90's. but in his prime as an artist? teddy was like the go to man for just about everyone. anytime the king of pop wanted to work with someone, you know that artist had to have what it takes to make something great. the thing about a producer like teddy riley is they have the vision. they know what works and what it takes to make that song, song's remix or album be something great or classic. plus he discovered the neptunes

yeah, the competition between teddy and jimmy jam and terry lewis was somethin' else. can't forget about babyface either.
