And I’m a JT fan...but he won’t stand a chance against Usher. Usher got an advantage because he continued with his music career unlike JT who only dropped 2 solo albums and went on hiatus for several years cause of his acting career.
Dru Hill blows 112 Out the Water... really I’d Put Jodeci against Dru Hull and 112 vs Jagged Edge as they were more comparable , imo.
How? 112 had good singers, they just went the total/tlc route and let the weird voice person sing lead - but vocally, Dru gets the edge. But 112 got more hits and a strong album cut library by virtue of more projects. I love them both, but Dru Hill would get dusted
It’s more so preference , I’m somewhat of a Sisqo Stan
and will argue he’s one of the best lead singers in an R & B group but yeah in that sort of battle environment, 112 might mop them up. They had a lot of Bangers.
