You wouldn't watch it on IG Live or Youtube Live? Hypothetically, if it was hosted on twitch, you could still watch it live on your platform of choice. That's exactly what I'm doing now, watching a youtube live of the IG battle. But it would be better if this was reversed.

The artists should be logged into a stronger platform meant for sound/video quality and half a million people watching it, and from there you can just stream the battle to various platforms like IG, but the quality would be improved and the artists wouldn't be kicked out of the platform.

You can twitch chat from phones or laptops? With these lockdowns the equipment needs to be readily available to all parties.

Twitch viewing experience is infinitely better on mobile and TV screens.

On Twitch, you can cast the stream to your TV, and have the live chat still running on your phone. So the entire screen is for the stream, and your phone is just for the chat.
