As gargantuan as MJ is, you could probably make an argument that he would take MJ in a battle.

It's a shame so many legends are no longer with us to take part in these types of matchups and give their stories and recollections of recording.

Imagine an alternate universe where Bob Marley, Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, Rick James, Marvin Gaye, and Maurice White all had instagram accounts and were throwing their hats in the ring.

:ohhh:

Yeah Stevie is probably GOAT of GOATS. he wrote hits that the jackson 5 sung.

Hell you could put the songs stevie wonder wrote or composed FOR OTHER Artist and that alone would wash 95% of other artist discographies

It's only a 20 song battle... Usher wins overall, but Trey has records that when they come on, R&B fans know them

Gotta Make It
Gotta Go
Last Time
Can't Help But Wait
Grub On
Missin' You
Role Play
We Should Be
Neighbors Know My Name
I Invented Sex
I Need a Girl
One Love
Say Aah
LOL :-)
Successful
Love Faces
Bottoms Up
Can't Be Friends
Dive In
Slow Motion
Cake
Na Na
Touchin, Lovin
SmartPhones

This isn't including his features either.

i would say Usher vs Tyrese

Trey Songz vs Chris Brown

R Kelly vs the Field (R&B artist from 1990-now)

This shyt is weak :yeshrug:

Trey belongs at the kids table

Fam. The issue is they wouldn’t be as IMPACTFUL as Usher’s 20. It ain’t about if he has 20 or not, Usher’s 20 would completely shyt on Trey’s. Lol

lmao.. ay man, he better off battling Jerimih or Mario with this...

I say, "Usher wins overall"
:manny:

Trey's debut dropped in 2005 where as Usher's dropped in 94. Usher has bigger records and the nostalgia, but Trey's run and his peak was during the period where Usher's albums weren't really that great. So depending on the fan's age, Trey's records might hit harder for younger R&B fans because they didn't live with Usher's earlier albums like we did.

Confessions is the last Usher album that I can play through without hopping and skipping around and it dropped in 2004. It's been 16 years, and while yes Usher is a legend, his music since Confessions hasn't been the same. Trey fell off after Trigga to me which dropped in 2014... his projects been trash after that, but he had a good run from 05 to 2014

Bruh. Usher has 20 hits. Would u put an Usher 20 vs an MJ 20? Ok then. 2 different weight classes. Not saying Usher is ANYWHERE NEAR MJ. I’m saying that just because someone has 20 don’t mean their 20 lines up with the next man’s. There’s levels to this shyt. Trey ain’t on Usher’s level.

MJ studied Stevie and actually watched him create his magic in the studio. I doubt MJ himself would even want to battle Stevie lol. But Beating MJ won’t be easy
