you can go with guy it don't matter. I'm interested to see the better groups you listed. Keep in mind i'm only talking about POST Motown 1985- now male r&b groups

well you named a grip of late '90s groups, but thats when things started slowing down actually.

and you basically skipped over all the great groups that popped in the mid '80s thru mid '90s except the 3 go-to names(NE, B2M, Jodeci)

if they weren't apart of motown and didn't have that motown sound then they can join.

groups like the whipsers, gap band, midnight star i consider to be in the motown era of music IMO

Got my Madonna playlist going (the coil’s hate for her doesnt make sense, you may not be into “pop” or all her reinventions, but Madonna was a beast who deserves her props) and forgot babyface did a couple tracks on bedtime stories for her. I get why he ain’t play it, but he shoulda just went hard in his white people bag :pachaha:

This battle was crazy, but also showed how The Booth views certain artists. It was an overwhelming idea that Teddy Riley was going to crush Babyface because a lot of people looked at Babyface as just the ballad guy and Teddy Riley as grooves. That narrative was that the grooves were going to smash the ballads.
