tiger has played well again. the problem is the field has gotten so much better since '08. guys like day, mcilroy, simpson, rahm, fleetwood, thomas are all ahead of him at the WGC. none of them existed 10 years ago. next week it will be another six great players...spieth, johnson, koepka, reed, rose. etc...etc....

this is what makes him faltering at the british open so frustrating. the stars aligned for him with the competition.

I got Rory. He's been getting a lot of top 5's lately and his major wins came at courses with a similar setup to Bellerive.

They're expecting very low scores, all-time low, so I don't think Tiger can keep up.
He can't. He'll come out conservative and struggle to make the cut. Irons off the tee on 500 yard par 4s :snoop:

If he's timid this week, he has no chance. They've removed a lot of trees on the course. He needs to let it fly.
There are too many right to left holes too. And you know how he is when he has to hit draws with the driver. I got Bubba finishing high too. That power fade is no joke
