So this year im up to about 11 rounds, thats by far the most since about 2010. Im usually around 8 rounds per year. This working every other week has me in a routine where I go out twice on the weeks im off. I tee off 6:45- 7am (course wide open :banderas:) and Im home by 11-11:30. I actually recorded some video of a round my dad and I played. I think I shot 84 that day. Tryna upload it here but I created it in an app called animotica so the formatting might not be compatible. I went pretty much my whole life never seeing my swing. After that video in June I had my wife record me hitting shots at TopGolf. IT HAS HELPED BEYOND BELIEF

I gotta cosign this a ton.

Most of us don't know the biggest flaws in our swing because we never get to actually see it. I bought one of the cell phone holders you can clip onto your alignment sticks or your golf bag on Amazon (I think its called SelfieGolf) and it makes a huge difference to get to see what you're doing wrong. If you take it to the range and film swings you WILL get better.

Can't wait :ohlawd:

I'm in Tampa/St. Pete area. Mostly play out this way, but my buddy is going to be in Kissimmee this weekend and I wanted to play a different course.

ChampionsGate felt like a good midway point plus I've been wanting to play it.

I looked at that Grand Hyatt too, but didn't know enough about it.

Kissimmee's where I live. You cant go wrong with Championsgate. Celebration is nice too.. I just get a lot of :mjpls: vibes there. Let us know how you end up playing this weekend and if you liked the course. I'm curious.

Yep, in north CO. I was lucky to play in HS, so that plus the junior pass was A LOT of free/cheap golf for 4 years. Went from shooting 125 to a single digit. There's really no way to get good other than playing a lot.

Maaaaaannn, I played football, basketball and baseball in high school. Hooped in college too. I had friends that played golf in high school and college both... I used to laugh at them all the time. I'd fukk with em and call em nerds and shyt.. and look at us now. They're damn near scratch and I'm floating around a 16-17 handicap. The tee box KILLS my scores. I've got ZERO driver control. I lose a good 5-6 strokes per round JUST from the tee box.

I gotta cosign this a ton.

I'm gonna look into this. :jbhmm:

My Putting mat just came through :banderas:
Gonna putt at least 15 mins a day when I watch TV

Also replaced my old 2 ball with the Tommy armour impact 3 putter based purely off of mygolfspy reviews:lolbron:
$80 and apparently performed better than everything :yeshrug:
Had to put a super stroke (:dame:) on it though which was almost half the cost of the putter :unimpressed:

Facts in this post. I’m in Milwaukee but that junior pass for $200 for the summer :ohlawd: I’d play at the very minimum 5 days a week and practiced probably every day. I’m fortunate too because our HS coach made the cut at our state am a few times so I was getting lessons all the time for free from someone that knew how to mold my game. I haven’t gotten a lesson since HS, but I’ve really been able to find tune my swing without someone trying to change little bits of it constantly :lolbron: I feel like I’m better and smarter now than I was then, but I was wayyyy more consistent then lol. I was automatic between 6-10 over every 18 hole round. Now I’ll have some rounds where I’m 2 over. But I’ll also have some where I’m 16 over :mjcry:

Fellas I got the worse luck ever. Tryna cop a good deal on some clubs. I went to Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstore, Edwin Watts :mjpls: and Club Champion today.

Found a dude selling practically brand new Mizuno JPX 919 Forged's (only played 6 rounds) for $600. I messaged him. Dude said he still had them. Offered him $650 to ship them to me (from Georgia) .. dude said ok. Got home 15 minutes later.. messaged him to exchange info so I could send payment.. and he sold them locally. :upsetfavre: Those are my dream irons right now. :noah: They feel so buttery soft.

I'm back on my grind. :beli:
