That scotty putter looks so dope and feels so right. I want it, but I can't justify spending for it. Just got new irons 6 months ago. New wedges, new bag, and new putter. Just got a SIM to replace my old ass TaylorMade R1. What are you playing besides that putter. What irons did you buy off your boy?

I'm legit about to walk out the house and get a round in at Disney. 1:00 tee time. :wow:

Missed the first part of your posts. I'll take a picture of the clubs so you can see. I knew I was going to have to spend some money getting started, and I definitely did not "need" that bag or putter, but my friends were just telling me that the putter and bag will last for a long time, so I invested in those. I'll post a picture of the clubs in just a minute.

The irons all sat M4 on them, but these are all of my other clubs, other than a gap wedge.

That's a solid get up. That M-1 driver is still arguably a top 5 driver out today.. and its roughly 6 years old. Matter of fact.. it was between a used M-1 like that, or the SIM that I ended up getting. I've never hit them R-11 irons, but again.. i've never heard anything bad about them.

My dude really went double bogey, bogey, double bogey, and bogey in the first four holes today.:dead:.

There goes my bet on him this major. Of course I bet on Oosthuizen the past few tournaments and didn't take him this one.

Me too I wanna know.

PGA season is year around. However the playoffs and Tour Championship (FedEx Cup Super Bowl) are from Aug-September. Players accrue Fed-Ex cup points all year round for placement in the playoffs, the winner in the end gets a 10m check.

Winning the FedEx cup is the biggest monetary goal on tour, but it doesnt compare to the prestige of the 4 majors (Masters, PGA Championship, US Open, Open Championship) These are how you become a legend in golf. These are the tournaments that Tiger has won 15 of and is trying to catch Jack's 18.

Best players in the world:
Dustin Johnson
Justin Thomas
Brooks Koepka
Bryson DeChambeau
Rory McIlroy
John Rahm
Colin Morikawa

To start in golf, grab a broomstick and study some youtube videos on grip, posture and alignment. This is super important as its the foundation of your swing. After 30 years of playing, you will still go back to this when your swing falls apart from time to time. After you get that down, go to a Top Golf and apply your lessons into a swing. It usually takes about 8-10 serious trips to the range before you are ready to buy a set of clubs.

Once you get a set of clubs, check out videos of golf etiquette (this preps you for your first trip to the course). You'll learn about not stepping in someone's putting line, not driving the cart on greens, how to determine who hits first, where to stand while someone's swinging and the rules of scoring.
