I'm gonna cop new wedges tomorrow. What wedges are you brehs messin with? I kinda sat back and took in my yardages and other factors, and I made a decision. Tell me what ya'll think..

I already told you guys that I copped the Mizuno JPX 921 Forged irons. (Dope as hell. Love them.) I got the 5i - Gap wedge.

I've been running with Callaway PM Grind wedges. (56° and 60°) The grinds never bit the greens and had ZERO spin. Which is weird because of all the grooves it got on its full face.

I decided to get rid of my Mizuno set pitching and gap wedges (They didnt bite as much as I wanted either) and grab me a 46° 52° and 58° for my lob. That gives me 5-6 degrees of gap between my clubs. Have any of ya'll gone away from set wedges to go with specialty wedges?

I'm debating on some wedges now.. but I wanna know ya'lls go to wedges before I make any decisions. I'm gettin fitted tomorrow and i'll cop them then.

I’m on my 3rd Cleveland 900 56d. I fell in love with the club watching Vijay 03-05. I bought my first in 06’, loved it so much I bought 2 more in ‘07 thinking I’d never find it again.

Now my last one is getting :flabbynsick: Had each one in the bag for about 4-5 years.

Dont the grooves wear out? Or have you not been able to play as much as you'd like?

Speaking of Cleveland.. thats one of the wedges I'm looking at. At least to take the place of my pitching wedge (46°)

Cleveland CBX2 Black Satin Wedge w/ Steel Shafts | PGA TOUR Superstore

Good forgiveness and it bites.

The for my 52 and 58 I'm debating between these..

Callaway JAWS MD5 Full Toe Black Wedge w/ Steel Shaft | PGA TOUR Superstore

These brand new Jaws' are full faced grooves. Sexy as hell too.

Or these SM8's

Titleist Vokey SM8 Brushed Steel Wedge | PGA TOUR Superstore

I've hit the Titleist's already. Smooth as shyt with hella spin.

Man I wanna be done with the bag already :why:

Been all Cleveland for 15+ years too.

Get a mix of bounces, obviously.

Ryder Cup about to start. Golf's best tournament :banderas:

US team got a lot of younger players and first time participants. Euro still leaning on a lot of veterans but they have younger players on their squad too. I think this Euro dominationis going to end with this generation of American players.

Beautiful looking course.

If I'm Stricker I'll send Morikawa/Johnson, Cantlay/Xander teams back out there in the afternoon. Berger looks like the pressure is getting to him. Brooks was solid though. And he's gotta sit Thomas/Spieth. Spieth especially was :trash:
