When breh paused on that Deck line, it made me remember how dope this hip hop shyt used to be. You'd listen to a crazy new track, and you might not remember every single line the first time, but the standout lines would burn in your dome instantly. Breh heard that line one time and was able to quote the shyt word for word. That's how exceptional rapping is done. If you're a 'lyricist' and I can't remember a fukkin line you've ever said in a verse, you're not a lyricist. It's that simple.

That last Deck line is something to meditate on...

Now, it can be seen as typical braggadocio sentiment in the first half of the line w/ people building monuments to them, but the second line points out that it's not because they took over and were the power or became the establishment that so often gets statues made. It's because they refused to conquer the world when they had the opportunity that has made them legends forever.

This verse probably tops his Triumph one for me.

Not even gonna lie, songs like "Above the Clouds" make me want to cry. This is just straight hip hop. Premier made that sick intro ready to take you on a journey, then the beat kicks in that sends you to an ancient civilization.

Guru starts it off with "I Self Lord and Master, shall bring disaster to evil factors/Demonic chapters shall be captured by kings." Already, it's over. This song is already classic.

Then Deck comes in with "I leave scientists mentally scarred, triple extra large/Wild like rock stars who smash guitars."

I swear, Moment of Truth was a greatest hits album.

The comment section almost gave me cancer. When ever it comes to this beef everyone always regurgitates what ever 50 said as factual and whatever 50 lied about gets completely looked over. For example, its just presumed to be factual that Ja made some negative remark towards 50 at a club because he was hanging out with Lil Troy, which later resulted in Ja not giving 50 dap on the video shoot for Murda 4 life. However, Ja has always maintained that he has no idea what the fukk 50 is even talking about here, and was completely unaware there was a problem prior to 50 dissing him on record. But no one is ever charitable to Ja's side which is simply bizarre to me because I don't see any evidence of Ja being stabbed, shot, issued an order of protection, chased out of the city, or cited as aiding the investigation of Federal Agent Francis Mace.
